His latest sock booties, for an example, are currently the must-have item among Kardashian family members; including Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Whereas the Jenner sisters probably find $895 for a pair of boots nothing but cheap, most of us would definitely frown at the price tag. That is why, Shay Cherise that goes by the name @thenuvogue on Instagram created a wonderful trick that costs you not more than $5 (yes you read it right) to get the sock booties look.
The duped sock booties were introduced by Shay through her Instagram account, to over 142,000 of her followers. The tutorial quickly went viral among girls, who were eager to try it out. After all, you’ll only need a pair of tube socks in your desired color, a scissors, a pack of Kiwi Sure Step non-skid pads, some glue, and a pair of stiletto high heels.
To begin, insert your pair of heels to the socks and cut a hole where the heels are. Carefully wrap it around the socks around the shoes and if possible, try it on. Then finally glue the non-skid pads on the sock-wrapped platform outer sole to ensure you can walk properly without slipping. Ta-da! You know have one of the trendiest items of the season.
You can always pull the shoes out of the socks to use it as a regular high heels.
