No Sew One Shoulder Shirt – DIY

It’s summer time! Meaning it’s time to show off your summer body; and you know you’re up for it! Summer also means you need to ditch old boring shirts, and rock something slightly more fashionable and cool, like this no-sew one shoulder shirt. Previously, we have heard of no-sew tote bag made of an old T-shirt.

Likewise, the no-sew one shoulder shirt is a great way to upcycle older T-shirts lying around unused on your wardrobe. Plus the no sewing part is a huge bonus if you’re not a fan of needles and threads. If you’re curious on how to make this no-sew one shoulder shirt, kick back and relax. Thanks to Anne Hollabaugh from WobiSobi you will be able to create the amazing top. Now, let’s get started!

There are basically only 3 things you’d need; an old T-shirt, a chalk, and scissors. While you can use both male and female T-shirts, please take into account that there’ll be some cutting needed in the process; meaning you’d probably have to get a shirt that’s slightly larger than your real body size because you’ll end up with a shirt smaller than the initial size.

Now that you have the material prepared, make the needed cuts: a cut from under one arm to the top collar, another cut to take off the other sleeve, a cut at the top to obtain two pieces and a few cuts on the sides. For more details please visit WobiSobi.

You can pair the shirt with a statement bangle or necklace. Now, you’re ready for summer!
