If you feel awkward with someone helping you at the store to measure your cup size, you can do it on your own in the comfort of your home. Here is how:

1. Use a bra calculator.

If you find using a tape measure kind of difficult to get your cup size, here’s a more conventional method available for you. You can use a bra size calculator to do all the calculations for you and yes, this could be more accurate.

You still need to measure your bust and band size. But once you get that essential information, you can then proceed to use the bra calculator. You can use any bra calculator that can be found on the internet. All you have to do is input that information on their respective answer fields and hit the calculate button. Simple, right?

Aside from its simplicity and accuracy, it also has options where you can convert your bra size to US, UK, EU, and many more. This could be very useful if you’re chosen brassiere doesn’t have the specific measurement based on your current location.

2. Use a tape measure.

This is the traditional method of measuring your cup size. Here are the following steps:

1. Ensure that you’re wearing a plain and non-padded bra to get an accurate measurement. Also, make sure that your breast is in the correct and most stable position

2. You’ll now measure your band size. To do so, place the measuring tape around your cage which is perfectly pulled tight based on your comfort, of course.

3. Take note of the inches. If it’s an even number, that’s your band size. If it’s odd, round it off or up to the nearest even number.

4. Right after, you’ll then measure your cup size. All you need to do is place the measuring tape onto the fullest part of your bust. Ensure that it’s leveled and flat. Write down the inches, and that would be your cup size.

5. Compute your cup size. Get the difference between your band size and cup size to determine your cup.

6. Finally, to get the bra size, all you have to do is add your band size and final cup size. The sum of it would be your actual bra size.
