How To Make Your Wedding Menus Feel High End

When it comes to planning the wedding of your dreams, you can’t afford to skimp on anything, including your wedding menus. Your guests will be able to tell the difference between high-quality stationery and cheap paper that doesn’t look very elegant.

And if you want your food to be served on fancy dishes instead of paper plates, then that is exactly what you need to do! Here are some tips on how to make your wedding menus feel high-end without breaking the bank.

1. Combine Acrylic Menus With Pressed Flowers

Pressed flowers with petals that are not withered are a great way to decorate your wedding menus. You can pick out special ones and glue them onto your menu before printing them out. Keep in mind that dried-out pressed flowers will crumble easily, so make sure they’re kept in a place that isn’t too dry or hot.

Just check to see if they feel crumbly or if their color has faded at all before using them for your favors. If you want to use fresh flowers as decorations on your menus, consider placing them inside small vases. The effect is similar but more elegant than simply arranging flowers on top of printed wedding menus.

For example, you can put rose petals inside glass containers and then arrange these around your table settings or even on top of each guest’s plate during dinner. This gives you an opportunity to create unique floral arrangements for each setting.

And don’t forget that you don’t have to limit yourself to one kind of flower; try combining different kinds of flowers together for a wedding program template.

2. Consider Copper and Rose Gold Details

These will feel ultra-luxe to your guests, even if they’re not. Copper and rose gold are becoming popular wedding metals because of their warm, luxurious tones—but you don’t have to pay a fortune for real copper or rose gold utensils and accessories.

Copper mugs and serving dishes are just as beautiful (and serve just as well) when coated in a thin layer of copper leaf. Rose gold can be achieved with any metal that’s been plated in 24K rose gold. The result is an affordable alternative that still looks high-end.

Don’t Skimp on Quality: People often try to save money by choosing cheap tablecloths and linens; but why skimp on one of your biggest investments? Good quality tablecloths, napkins, linens, place settings, silverware, and china are worth investing in because they last longer than cheap versions.

You’ll also want these pieces to look good for years to come—no one wants faded colors or fraying edges at their wedding! Be sure to buy from reputable vendors who offer samples before purchasing large quantities. Remember, it doesn’t matter how much you spend on your decor if it doesn’t fit into your budget.

Consider having some items custom-made instead of buying them off the shelf. For example, consider having a designer create custom napkin rings instead of buying them pre-made from a store. Use Fabric Place Settings: Fabric place settings add texture and color to otherwise boring tablescapes.

3. Choose a Material That Can Pull Double Duty

One way to feel like you’re getting an upscale look is to choose a menu that can be used for more than just food. For instance, if you are planning to put seating cards or table assignments on your menu, select one that matches your décor as well.

You don’t have to use a different item for each purpose—just make sure it ties in seamlessly with everything else at your wedding. If your menus will double as place cards, try ordering cards and then putting them into leather sleeves (these can often be found inexpensively at craft stores).

Or you could also opt for having place settings instead of place cards so everyone sits wherever they want. This works especially well when combined with cloth napkins that serve both a decorative and functional purpose. It may seem like a lot of work upfront, but it really isn’t once all those details come together.

The overall effect is worth it! And trust us: no one will think twice about how you made your wedding menus feel high-end, because they won’t even realize there was a plan behind it! They’ll just think wow, these guys know how to throw a party.

They Look Expensive: People always assume expensive things look expensive because of their material value. That might not necessarily be true, but we buy into that assumption anyway.

4. Mix Black and Gilded Gold

You can give your menus a real luxury feel by using black calligraphy ink or lettering to set off against a gilded gold background. It’s a really dramatic look that works perfectly with some of our favorite wedding ideas such as having your guests write their own messages on blank pieces of paper and adding them to an original art piece you create yourself.

For example, if you are getting married in a castle, ask each guest to draw something they love about it and then arrange these drawings around a framed picture of you both taken at your engagement shoot.

If not, try asking each guest to bring along an item they think represents what love means to them – then arrange these items in front of photos from your relationship.

Or maybe have everyone write down one word that describes how they feel about your marriage. You could then use these words to create a collage that you hang above your head table. Whatever you choose, make sure to include an envelope for people to put their messages into and make sure that there is plenty of room for them to do so.

The wording for your menu cards should be simple but elegant so keep it short and sweet. We also recommend avoiding any mention of food as most people will be looking forward to tasting your delicious spread rather than reading about it beforehand.

Keep being AllDayChic!
