As you browse through Instagram, Twitter, or any other social media platforms, have you ever been astonished by just how some women just seem like they’re so put together? It’s almost like they live in an entirely different world from you.

1. Workout
Most of us hate working out. Admit it – you’d rather spend the afternoon lying on your couch, surfing the web while snacking, instead of working out. Unfortunately, working out is a huge contributing factor to achieving that strong woman look.
We all know the physical health benefits that come with working out, but what about the mental health benefits? Research has shown that working out “improves mental health by reducing anxiety, depression, and negative mood and by improving self-esteem and cognitive function”. In English? It’s making you more confident and less sad.
2. Don’t rush things
We all live busy lives, so it’s understandable that you’d try to squeeze in as many things as possible on your schedule.
Thus, you might be tempted to skip or rush through important things – such as your skincare routine, a nice and relaxing shower, some me-time, or even breakfast. These things, though might seem minor, can actually make a huge difference in your well-being and appearance.
So what can help you not to rush through them? The key is having a good schedule. Plan what you are going to do the next day and make sure the allotted time for each activity is reasonable.
3. Relax
How often do you feel burnt out? Most people find themselves so deep into their work that they forget to relax, even on weekends. If that’s how you feel, make sure that you get to “unplug”.
Try not to think so much about work after you get off work or during weekends and your day offs. Easier said than done, obviously, but only if you’re calm and refreshed, then you can be productive (while still looking good!)
4. Dress right
So we’ve discussed tips that’ll help you from the inside. Now let’s talk about what’s arguably the most important to be that strong, successful woman: Dressing right. Is there any dress code you’ll have to follow? Well, simply put: No, there’s no such thing.
Cultures, climate, and ethics in different parts of the world can vary. But there are some things that you can keep in mind when you pick what to wear.
First, sometimes it’s better to be comfortable than to be fashionable. If you’re going hiking with a bunch of friends from work, for example, would you still choose to don your favorite pencil skirt, a blouse, and a pair of stilettos? Most likely, no. Remember – time, place, and occasion.
Second, invest in a good suit. Suits are not only for men – they’re also for powerful women. A tailored suit would definitely you look more professional and ready to conquer all the hurdles life sends your way.
And third, less is not more. It actually has something to do with the first thing we mentioned, being comfortable. If your outfit is too tight or revealing, chances are it’s not comfortable.
