Snow Globes - DIY

Like Santa Claus, the Christmas tree or the snowman, snow globes have been the symbol of Christmas for many decades now. It’s high time to learn how to create snow globes even if you choose the waterless ones or the globes with water or both. The amazing thing is that you don’t have to invest too much money or time in them.

You will need:
– glass jars with lids;
– artificial snow;
– mini Christmas trees;
– little snowmen;
– small toys;
– adhesive spray (water resistant);
– white spray paint (water resistant);
– glitter;
– glue gun;
– water resistant glue and water (if you choose to make globes with water).

Directions:
– Waterless Snow Globes: Spray the tress and the little snowmen with spray adhesive and then you can sprinkle some glitter on them for a more enchanting effect. Then let the glue and glitter dry for a while. Afterwards, you can hot glue the snowmen and the trees to the bottom of the lids. Fill the jars with some of the fake snow. Screw the lids back on and turn them upside down and shake the jars to make it snow.
– Water Snow Globes: Stick the toy on inner side of the lid and let it dry. Sprinkle in some glitter. Use as many colors as you’d like, and as much as you’d like. Pour water to fill the rest of the jar. Put the lid on the jar and shake to watch the glitter swirl.

Create as many snow globes as you like and send them as gifts or use them in your home as the perfect Christmas ornaments ever. Enjoy!
