Rainbow Butterfly Footprint Artwork – DIY

Rainbow Butterfly Footprint Artwork - DIY

Almost every human being on Earth (at least) knows what a blessing it is to have a child of your own. It is nature’s course, it’s the way of life: to be born, to grow up, get married, have babies and after that, watch them growing up, get married have our grandchildren and so on and so forth. Because every step we take in life is important to us, our children, brother or sister, we found a way of marking a special moment you have with your baby: frame your baby’s foot butterfly. Just because he got to his one year anniversary, we suggest you try this.

 You will need:
– a frame;
– watercolors;
– a paper;
– colored markers.

Directions: Use the watercolor to paint in gradient your baby’s feet, including the toes. After that, take the paper and gently press the foot onto the paper, so the color transfers on the paper. Do the same with the other foot. When done, you should wipe your child’s feet before the color dries out. Now, use the marker to make the butterfly body, and write the name of your child and if you want to remember it, even the date you made it. Frame after the painting is dried out, and you are done!
