When planning a party, or you want to make a surprise for your family both children and parents, you will find this recipe really helpful. The buns stuffed with meatballs and cheese are easy to make, look really tasty, they are easy to eat and they can be served with marinara sauce next to. Perfect on the appetizers spot for your party, movie night or poker night with friends, since you will not have to worry about cleaning your floors when the night is off. Check out the directions and the video below to find the procedure of making them.

You will need:
– 1 can Pillsbury golden layers biscuits – each pulled into 2 layers;
– 10 frozen fully cooked italian style meatballs – thawed and cut in half;
– 5 sticks string cheese – cut each into 4 pieces each;
– grated Parmesan cheese;
– dried basil;
– dried oregano;
– garlic powder;
– cracked black pepper;
– marinara sauce.

Directions: Preheat oven to 375 F. If you want, you can prepare the meatballs in your own kitchen, but we thought why not go easy on ourselves and use the frozen meatballs. (There is another solution though, if you prepare one time some meatballs, make a double quantity and froze a part of them for when you are in a hurry). Leave them on the room temperature to defrost if you do not wish to use the microwave. Take the flaky biscuits and separate them in two layers each. Cut the cheese into small pieces. Make sure the meatballs are small enough. Make small sandwiches with one meatball one cheese and the biscuit layer. Wrap the dough around and seal the edges. Place these small balls into a round cake pan, season them with pepper, oregano, basil, garlic powder and Parmesan cheese, then bake them until they get golden. Heat up the marinara sauce before serving the delicious buns to your guests.
