Lamb Holder for Notes

Lamb Holder for Notes from cotton swabs

Inspired by Crafts-for-all-Seasons, this project presents the steps you should follow to make a cute lamb holder for notes, using cotton swabs.

You will need:
– white card stock;
– cotton swabs;
– scissors;
– glue;
– 2 wooden clothespin;
– pen;
– small ribbon for a bow.

Directions: Draw 2 oval shapes on a white card stock (a big one for body and a small one for head) or print this pattern to prepare the base. Cut out the shapes and continue to use the scissors to cut off the heads of cotton swabs. Start making the lamb`s body and use glue to attach the heads of cotton swabs on the big card stock form as shown in the pictures. For the lamb’s head you will have to glue two cotton swab tips for ears and three for the lamb’s “hair”, but these three only with the cotton part. Paint eyes, nose and mouth. Make a cute small bow from the ribbon and glue it to the top of the lamb’s head. Glue two wooden clothespins to the back of the lamb’s body. And Voila! Your pretty lamb holder for notes is finish. Enjoy!

  1. The last part where you glue in the card stock to the clothespin – any larger photos of that? and how can I make it stand?
