A house becomes a home in the presence of a few key pieces that make it a place not only functional but also pleasant to live in. This lovely, colourful apartment welcomes us with bright natural light, a feature that gives a positive vibe while making the place look more spacious at the same time. Located in an attic in downtown of the beautiful Madrid, the apartment is structured and furnished for a modern couple, combining utility with cosy elements. Charlie Diaz, the architect who remodeled, chose to divide the 90 square meters into two floors. The ground floor is designed to have the kitchen, a toilet and also the lounge, an area with big, luminous windows, white walls and furniture and touches of brown and pink. The first floor hosts the bedroom where the architect created the illusion of more space by adding see through glass to the walk-in shower and large windows. For warm summer evenings, the terrace, located in the first floor, is the perfect place to have a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset!
