There are several ways you can make your nails stronger, not just by diet changes but also by easy treatments you can do in the comfort of your own home. Easy tips and tricks for strong and natural nails:
1. Olive Oil + Lemon Juice
Both are rich in vitamins and ingredients that nourish the nail. For a treatment, just combine one teaspoon of olive oil with one teaspoon of lemon juice and apply it to your nails. Do this before going to bed so you are sure you don’t wash hands for a few hours and the mixture will have time to work in your benefit. Repeat this process twice a week, then maybe once a week after you have seen the nails recovering.
2. Sea Salt + Lemon Juice
Salt is helping the nails to become more stronger, that is why maybe you have noticed that every time you have spent a vacation at the seaside, when coming home, your nails were stronger, it is because of the salt from the water. In a small bowl, combine two tablespoons of sea salt with a few drops of lemon juice and pour some warm water over. Soak your hands in it for 15 minutes then rinse. Do it everyday until you see nails becoming stronger then repeat every week at least once.
3. Different Oils like: Seed Oil, Sesame Oil, Olive Oil, Almond Oil
Take one oil from the above list and apply it to your nails with the help of some q-tips. Leave the oil on for 20 minutes and repeat daily. If you have more oils available, you can make a mix of them and apply the mix to the nails, it is up to you to decide. Repeat once a week after your nails have become stronger.
